After the ceremony, 30 troops took part in a series of activities, including repairing the house for a poor family in Phu Tan village, the program to exchange plastic waste for household items; and repainting the play area for children; among others.

The Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign was a practical activity showing the voluntary spirit of coast guard youths, contributing to attaching activities of youth of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command to socio-economic development, consolidating defense and security, ensuring social security, and building a new-style rural area.

These activities also contributed to educating youths on national traditions; raising the quality of activities of youth organizations; and creating a healthy environment for Youth Union members to cultivate their personality, ethics and social skills.
