Coast Guard Region 2 stands side by side with fishermen in Quang Ngai province

In Pho Khanh commune, Duc Pho town, the Coast Guard Region 2 and the Quang Ngai provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission disseminated information about illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing to nearly 100 local fishermen, handed over 50 gifts to policy households and needy fishermen, and offered 200 national flags and leaflets.

In the framework of the program, the organizing panel organized the “I love my national sea and islands” competition at Pho Khanh Secondary School, Duc Pho town.

Presenting 15 bicycles to needy students

Concluding the contest, the organizing panel awarded two first, one second, three third, and one consolation prizes to the winners.

Offering 30 scholarships to needy students with good academic outcomes

On the occasion, the Coast Guard Region 2 Command also presented 15 bicycles and 30 scholarships to needy students with good academic outcomes, and three sets of computers to local schools.
