Coast Guard Region 2 gives Tet gifts to Ly Son people

In this program, the organizers presented 100 gifts, each including cash and Chung cakes worth VND 1 million, to fishermen’s families in need.

It was among activities of the mass mobilization program “Coast guard force accompanies fishermen” in Quang Ngai province in general and in Ly Son island district in particular. It aimed to ensure a cozy lunar New Year (Tet) to policy beneficiary families, national contributors, poor households, thereby tightening the solidarity between coast guards and people in the stationed locality and raising responsibility and awareness of local people of joining hands with the local coast guard force to defend national sovereignty, sovereign right, security, and safety of the sea and islands.

On the occasion, the Coast Guard Region 2 Command, the Mass Mobilization Commission of the Quang Ngai provincial Party Committee and other departments, organizations, and units in Ly Son island district jointly organized a Chung cake making competition and an artistic exchange.
