Locals in Ta Lang and Gian Bi hamlets receive gifts.

On the occasion, the Coast Guard Region 2 Command presented 50 gifts to needy ethnic minority people in Ta Lang and Gian Bi hamlets, Hoa Bac commune, Hoa Vang district and 70 gifts to policy families and fishermen in Lien Chieu district. Each gift is worth VND 1 million.

Political Commissar of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command Senior Colonel Le Huy Sinh said that this practical activity aimed to encourage locals to overcome difficulties to welcome a happy New Year and strengthen the relationship between troops and people.

According to him, during the program, the Coast Guard Region 2 Command also disseminated the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies and laws; updated locals on information related to national sea and islands and missions of the Vietnamese coast guard force; mobilized them to actively cooperate with the coast guard force to protect national sovereignty over sea and islands and  security and safety in localities.
