Border troops actively prevent COVID-19 pandemic
PANO - According to the Da Nang Port Border Gate under the municipal Border Guard Command, from March 24 to 27, the unit promoted dissemination of Covid-19-related information to fishermen and local people in the two wards of Thuan Phuoc and Thanh Binh (Hai Chai district, Da Nang city).
Notably, troops of the unit instructed locals how to wear medical face masks, not to gather in large crowds, or share fake news about the pandemic.

On the occasion, the Da Nang Port Border Gate, in association with Generali - Life Insurance Da Nang and relevant agencies, presented 500 free face masks and 500 leaflets on Covid-19 prevention and control to local people, donated VND 10 million to Hai Chau District General Hospital and VND 5 million to Thanh Binh Ward Health Station to buy medical equipment.
* The Command of Coast Guard Region 3 and local authorities gave nearly 1,000 free face masks, 1,000 bottles of hand sanitizer, and 500 leaflets on the Covid-19 prevention and control to local people.
The military unit mobilized vehicles to provide more than 400 bottles and 1,000 cubic meters of clean water to drought-hit people in Go Cong Dong district, Tien Giang province.
Earlier, the unit has sent many vehicles to provide thousands of cubic meters of clean water for needy people in Ben Tre province.
