Border officer rescues drowning person at sea

Earlier, at 5 p.m. on September 25, while conducting patrol at sea, the patrol team of Tan Thanh Border Station heard a call for help of a person who was struggling in the waters in Da Vang Beach Tourist Area, Tan Thanh commune, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province.

Without hesitation, First Lieutenant Nguyen Van Hoa jumped into the sea to rescue the sinking person and brought the victim ashore safely. The victim then was given first aid and quickly taken to An Phuoc General Hospital in Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province for further treatment.
