Border Guards support schools in preparation for welcoming students back
PANO – After long holidays for preventing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, schools in border areas have completed preparations to welcome back students with support of local border guard forces.
During the previous week, the Border Gate Stations of Thong Thu, Tam Hop, and Mau Son under the Nghe An Provincial Border Guards, in association with the local health sector, implemented environmental hygiene and disinfection spraying at local schools.
Meanwhile, units of the Quang Ninh Provincial Border Guard Command sent troops and military medical personnel to schools in the province to disinfect classrooms and present hand sanitizers and face masks to needy students.

On May 2 and 3, the Chieng Khuong Border Gate Station sent 15 troops to carry out environment hygiene and disinfection at the Bien Cuong Kindergarten, the Muong Sai Secondary School, and the Chieng Khuong Primary School in Song Ma district, Son La province.
Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Giap, Political Commissar of the Chieng Khuong Border Gate Station, held that his unit joins hands with the local educational sector to prepare for welcoming students back to schools.
Principal of the Bien Cuong Kindergarten Lo Thi Loan shared that, thanks to the support of the Chieng Khuong Border Gate Station, the school has completed all preparations while enhancing information dissemination on preventing the COVID-19 pandemic, and so on.
