Border guards save fisherman suffering from brain haemorrhage
PANO - The border troops of Binh Thuan province on August 23 successfully took a fisherman in distress at sea ashore for timely treatment.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Viet Hoa, Commanding Officer of Hoa Minh Border Guard Post under the Border Guard Command of Binh Thuan province, at 09.00 hours on August 23, the post was notified of a fisherman suspected of dying on a coracle which was some 1 nautical mile from Ganh Son in Chi Cong commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province.
Immediately, the post commander sent troops to work with the Fisheries Surveillance Station of Tuy Phong district to sail a canoe to the scene. When the joint force approached the coracle, they found the fisherman in a critical health condition. They promptly took the troubled fisherman ashore and then transported him to the General Hospital in Bac Binh Thuan for emergency aid.
Thanks to the timely rescue of the joint force, fisherman Dang Van Teo, born in 1966 and residing in Phan Ri Cua townlet, Tuy Phong district, who was diagnosed with brain haemorrhage, was saved in a timely manner.
