Border guards hold gratitude program in border areas
PANO – The Quang Tri provincial Youth Union chapter, the Provincial Border Guard Command, and the Provincial Red Cross Society chapter have jointly organized a program “Border areas in March” in A Doi commune, Huong Hoa mountainous district, Quang Tri.
During the program, the organizers built a lighting project along the road of the commune, repaired houses for local ethnic minority groups, gave learning desks to needy students, provided free health checkups and medicines to local residents, and handed over dozens of gifts to policy beneficiaries.

In the Youth Month 2019, members of the Quang Tri province’s Youth Union actively participated in a number of voluntary activities, such as presenting gifts to needy students and soldiers stationed in border areas and on islands, promoting a startup movement among youths, and building civilized urban areas.
* On the same day, under the “Border areas in March” program, the Son La provincial Border Command and other relevant units offered free health checkups and counseling to over 200 residents in Muong Lan commune, Sop Cop district, Son La.
They also offered free haircut to local students and people, and held friendly volleyball matches with border guard troops of the Muong Lan Border Post and people in the commune.
