Border guards help Ia Lop commune overcome consequences of thunderstorm
PANO - Troops of EA H’leo Border Post under the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command are teaming with local authorities to support households and schools in Ia Lop commune to overcome consequences of a recent thunderstorm.

On March 19, sudden heavy rain and thunderstorm hit Ia Lop commune, unroofing ten houses in Chieng and Dong villages, Cam Ba Thuoc Primary School and Hoa Lan Kindergarten and damaging other properties. The total initial damage was estimated at more than VND 200 million.
Responding to that situation, Ea H’leo Border Post sent troops to cooperate with local authorities and other forces stationed in the area to assist locals to move their assets to a safer place in a timely manner.
The post has also visited and encouraged the disaster-hit families. Its troops lent locals hands to repair their houses, local schools so that they could resume their normal life soon.
