At the refresher course held for prestigious ethnic minority people in Gia Lai province

During the three-day event, delegates and prestigious ethnic minority people will be updated with Vietnam Border Guard Law and guidance documents on the implementation of the law and border security work in the new period, the building of the movement of mobilizing ethnic minority people to protect the Fatherland, enhancement of prestigious people’s role in national protection cause, immigration management, prevention of human trafficking, outcomes of the demarcation and planting of border markers along the Vietnam - Cambodia borderline, and the dissemination of the Party’s guidelines on ethnic and religious work.

The event is expected to contribute to promoting the role of prestigious people in helping party committees, authorities, and fatherland front committees actualize the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws on ethnic and religious affairs, building new-style rural areas, ensuring political security and public orders in areas where ethnic minority groups are located. 

As planned, Gia Lai province’s Committee on Ethnic Minority Affairs will chair and cooperate with other agencies to organize six refresher courses for 955 prestigious ethnic minority people in 2023.
