Additional troops from MR4 mobilized for disaster relief efforts
PANO - On August 7, more than 350 officers and soldiers from Regiment 335 of Division 324, Military Region 4 (MR4) Command, marched to Muong Tip, Bac Ly and My Ly border communes in Nghe An province to reinforce locals’ relief efforts.
The reinforcement was made based on the severe damage caused by the recent floods and the request of local authorities.

As planned, the reinforced troops, under the direction of Deputy Commanding Officer of Division 324 Senior Colonel Tran Manh Quan, will carry out tasks as requested by local authorities. They will focus their efforts on building temporary shelters for people whose houses were swept away by floods, repairing damaged houses, restoring affected infrastructure, such as roads, schools, and other public facilities.

During the floods in late July, the Military Region 4 Command mobilized more than 600 officers and soldiers, together with equipment, to assist authorities and people in Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Muong Xen and other flood-hit communes in Nghe An province in overcoming the disaster aftermaths and stabilizing their lives.
