Troops silently protecting forest
PANO – Over the past time, troops of Division 4 of Military Region 9 have made all-out efforts to take care of and protect more than 1,660 hectare of cajuput trees in Kien Giang province’s Hon Dat and Giang Thanh districts which are seen as the “green lung” of the Long Xuyen Triangle.
The cajuput forest has contributed to promoting local economic development and defense as well as to the unit’s environmental protection efforts.
PANO would like to introduce some photos about troops’ activities in protecting the forest.
