Troops join voluntary activities in localities
PANO – Troops of Chi Linh and Con Dao border posts of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau provincial Border Guard Command, in coordination with the local youths, held a program to plan trees and clean the environment in the areas where they are stationed on April 2 and 3.

The event was in response to the implementation of the “Voluntary Saturday” and “Green Sunday” and the emulation movement themed “Troops joining hands to build new-style rural areas.”
On April 3, Chi Linh border guards joined hands with local youths to collect waste and plant trees along Nguyen Huu Canh street, Vung Tau city. Accordingly, the nearly two-kilometer street was cleaned up with 200 trees planted.
Earlier, on April 2, in Con Dao district of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, local border guards and youths cleaned up the environment and collected waste along the beach.
These activities aimed to raise troops’ awareness and enthusiasm of protecting marine environment, to celebrate of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union congresses at all levels, and the 12th National Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in the period of 2022-2027.
