Training of participating forces in parade at celebration of Dien Bien Phu Victory checked

Speaking at the inspection, Gen. Cuong lauded participating forces’ initial outcomes and praised the power of the armed forces and the solidarity of the whole nation. 

The Chief of the General Staff emphasized the significance and profound values of the Dien Bien Phu Victory and the continuous development of the Vietnam People’s Army over the past 70 years under the sound leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam. He affirmed the determination of the whole Party, people, and military to successfully carry out the renewal and Fatherland construction and protection cause in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

Gen. Cuong asked participating forces to thoroughly grasp the significance of the parade and actively train to master all movements. Meanwhile, commanding officers were requested to understand that training forces to participate in the parade is the responsibility of each person and unit to the military and the nation.

He suggested the organizing panel and instructors strictly observe regulations; well ensure absolute safety of personnel, weapons, and equipment. Management officers and instructors should apply different measures to help participating forces fully grasp provided knowledge and master movements. 

The Chief of the General Staff also emphasized the need to review after each training session to enhance the quality of training; objectively and accurately make assessment of forces’ performance; strengthen coordination among forces to facilitate the training.
