PANO – Many traditional games such as tugging, stick pushing, walking-on-stilts and pot beating have been launched on days-off, holidays and sport events at the Unit B12 under the Quyet Thang Corps in recent years.
These games have always attracted a large number of soldiers and cadres, especially new recruits as part of their cultural life.
Thanks to the traditional games, these participants have opportunities to improve the unity and their strength, said Lieutenant-Colonel Hoang Ngoc Tuan, an officer of the unit.
Leaders of the unit have tried to introduce more traditional games to soldiers in order to create a healthy environment for soldiers and help maintain traditional cultural identities.
