Accordingly, Military Region 7 assigned the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command to the selection and training of the “Southern female guerrilla force” formation participating in the parade for the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.

The command has thoroughly grasped the task, made careful preparations, organized strict recruitment of militiawomen, and conducted training activities.
After each stage of training, the command held a test to choose qualified troops for the next training stages as regulated. Up to now, the movements of each troop and the whole formation basically met the requirements.
After the ceremony, the “Southern female guerrilla force” parade bloc will move to the North to join training exercises at the National Military Training Center No.4 (Hanoi) and Dien Bien province.

In addition to training, the command kicked off an emulation movement and various programs, including artistic and cultural exchanges, visits to historical sites, forums, seminars, etc. to create a joyful atmosphere for militiawomen during training.
Speaking at the event, Major General Dang Van Hung, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 7, spoke highly of the responsibility and efforts of the “Southern female guerrilla force” parade formation and required the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command to continue to closely coordinate with local authorities to ensure good conditions for the participating troops during training and their departure to the North.
Gen. Hung asked the militiawomen to overcome all difficulties, practice harder, and enhance solidarity to ensure the success of the coming parade. Meanwhile, the command should pay more attention to the spiritual and material life of participating troops and ensuring their absolute safety during task performance.

At the ceremony, leaders of Military Region 7, Ho Chi Minh city, and agencies and units, and enterprises presented gifts to the militiawomen to encourage them to complete the assigned mission.
