During the event, Decision No.1371 of the Prime Minister on a project themed “Promoting the military’s role in law dissemination and education, and calling on people to observe the law in the 2021-2027 period”, and a decision on the establishment of the project’s steering committee were announced so as to soon implement the project.

The overall goal of Project 1371 is to promote the role of the military in law dissemination and education, mobilizing people to adhere to the law from the grassroots level, in order to raise the public awareness of law observance.

An overview of the event

Specifically, the project aims to raise the awareness of law observance for 80% of officials and people, of whom 60% are working and living in key, remote, and ethnic minority areas.

Addressing the event, General Luong underlined that Project 1371 has a broad scope and targets many groups of population. Therefore, in addition to promoting its core role in the implementation of the project, the military should closely work with localities and relevant organizations, mobilize all resources to best fulfill the task.

In addition, functional units were also requested to often grasp situations to innovate contents and forms, and apply information technology and digitization in law dissemination and education. Furthermore, they should prioritize professional and skill development, as well as the development of models for law dissemination and education in order to popularize successful the models and examples.
