President Truong Tan Sang works with Factory Z111

PANO – On the occasion of the 70^th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22^nd, 1944 – December 22^nd, 2014) and the 25^th whole people’s defence day, President Truong Tan Sang visited and inspected the rifle production line of Factory Z111 under the General Department of Defence Industry.

This is one of the first military weaponry units of the Ministry of National Defence to well perform the two tasks of national defense and security protection and economic development over the past years.

President Truong Tan Sang praised the factory staff and workers for their good command of new technologies and weaponry production, creating capabilities to build up weapons for the Vietnam People’s Army. Mr. President also noted that the factory should focus on improving the quality of existing products.

The State President affirmed that the Party and the State have always paid special attention to the defence industry. He instructed Factory Z111 in particular, and the defence industry in general, to take into account the export of high quality products to optimize investment.
