During the one-month long course, trainees studied basic knowledge related to defense-security strategies of several countries related to Vietnam, the Fatherland protection strategies in the new situation, and the Party’s and State’s viewpoints on building the whole-people defense posture in attachment with the people’s security posture, the national sovereignty over border, sea, and islands, among others.

In addition, 65 participants were equipped with knowledge related to defense tactics in local defensive areas, the armed forces’ operation in combat readiness posture, solutions concerning socio-economic development in line with defense-security reinforcement.

Addressing the closing ceremony of the course, Sr. Lt. Gen. Tran Viet Khoa hoped that after the course, trainees continue studying theoretical and realistic issues to complete their daily missions, and to give timely recommendations to the Party and State on defense and security affairs, foreign relations, and so on, contributing to firmly building and safeguarding the Fatherland in the current context.
