Nam Dinh provincial Military Command holds conference on natural disaster response

The event saw the participation of localities and units in Nam Dinh, Division 395 (Military Region 3), Army Corps 1 Military School, and others.

In 2022, thanks to  their pro-activeness and implementation of the “Four-on-spot” motto, the provincial Military Command and other forces handled natural disasters and fire and explosion incidents in a timely and effective manner, contributing to minimizing losses of lives and property. The provincial armed forces coordinated with agencies and units to organize ten exercises on natural disaster response and search and rescue operations in localities.

In the time to come, the conference determined that information dissemination to raise awareness of natural disaster response and search and rescue operations should be promoted; coordination in conducting training activities and drills on methods for search and rescue, fire and explosion prevention should be strengthened, and  sufficient  forces, materials, vehicles for the missions, should be prepared, among others.
