On hearing reports on the unit’s task performance over the past time and preparations for the upcoming Tet holiday, Gen. Cuong applauded the unit for its accomplishments, particularly in training, combat readiness, participation in great national celebrations, search and rescue operations, disaster relief efforts, mass mobilization, and internal solidarity.

The defense leader asked the Party Committee and Chain-of-Command of Division 312 to continue embracing higher-level directives and translate them into action according to the unit’s reality.

The unit was requested to closely coordinate with other units and localities to grasp situations, deal with contingencies in a timely manner and maintain combat readiness duty, especially during the Tet holiday and election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly. In addition, it must closely manage UAVs, warehouses, and important targets, and pro-actively carry out fire and explosion prevention, ensuring absolute safety in all aspects.

Other tasks that the unit should focus on include observance of military discipline and State laws, prevention of violations of discipline, preparation to receive new recruits and start new training session for 2026.

Gen. Cuong presents Tet gifts to troops of Division 312.

Regarding Tet holiday, Gen. Cuong urged the unit to ensure personnel for duty and combat readiness work, intensify both routine and unscheduled inspections, guarantee troops’ welfare, food safety, disease prevention, and effectively and practically conduct tree-planting event.

On this occasion, Gen. Cuong extended Tet wishes and presented Tet gifts from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to troops of Division 312.
