The delegation inspected the school’s education and training work, force building, the quality of discipline observance and accommodation, science and technology, operational documents, Party and political work, logistic-technical assurance, investment, among others.
Touring the training ground, Gen. Cuong reviewed training methods and pointed out shortcomings that need addressing in the coming time.

He stressed training work is a process of sharing combat experience. Therefore, instructors should learn about lessons drawn from former generations during wartime and then apply them in their training contents in a creative and effective manner.
Visiting the lecture hall, Gen. Cuong required cadets of Company 1 (Battalion 2) to make use of acquired knowledge to accomplish their assigned missions after graduation. He also visited the school’s library, book display area, and others.
Concluding the visit, Gen. Cuong emphasized that the school strictly grasped the Party’s guideline and policies, the Resolutions of the Central Military Commission (CMC) and directions of the MND, the General Staff, and the General Department of Political Affairs in performing tasks and drawing concrete training plans.
In the time to come, Gen. Cuong asked the school to renew education and training contents to raise the quality of the work; focus on improving instructors and educational administrators’ professional competence; and strictly implement regularity building work.
In addition, the school should concentrate on increasing the quality of scientific research and ensure adequate documents and textbooks while regularly organizing extracurricular activities to improve social skills for cadets, and paying more attention to promoting mass mobilization work and taking care of the material and spiritual life of officers and cadets.
Earlier, the delegation offered incense to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and visited the school's hall of fame.
