Military Hospital 15's staff give face masks to patients and their families

Military units in the Central Highlands region, including Army Corps 3, Army Corps 15, and Border Guard Commands in the provinces of Gia Lai, Kon Tum and Dak Lak, closely follow disease situations in their localities and take drastic measures to prevent the Covid-19.

The military units have already set up steering committees for prevention and control of the disease. Military Hospital 211 (Army Corps 3), Military Hospital 15 (Army Corps 15) and Infirmaries of the provincial Border Guard Commands also established quarantine areas to be ready to receive patients.

* In response to the Covid-19 epidemic prevention, the Red Cross Society of Quang Nam province presented bactericidal hand soaps to local people.

1,000 bactericidal hand wash bottles and 2,000 leaflets on the information about the disease were delivered to local households. In addition, the organization also disseminated information about the disease and measures to prevent from infections.

The program contributed to raising public’s awareness of the danger of the disease and the importance of Covid-19 prevention.

Furthermore, the organization will work with localities to hold blood donation drives with safety approaches for participants as the Covid-19 is increasingly complicated.
