Lieutenant General Do Can, Deputy-Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army speaking at the seminar
Lieutenant General Do Can, Deputy-Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army attended the event.
Over 30 reports sent to the seminar agreed that the Industrial Revolution 4.0 has deeply influenced on Vietnam, including military schools in the whole army.
Accordingly, all military schools should raise awareness of the revolution’s influence on education and training work in the army while actively renovating education programs and teaching methods, improving foreign language teaching and studying quality in line with scientific research, and furthermore, applying IT in education.
Addressing the seminar, General Can said the Central Military Commission has always attached much importance to impacts of the industrial revolution so as to have timely instructions for all affiliated units to meet all requirements in the new context.
In the coming time, leaders of military schools should embrace Instruction No. 28-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee’s executive committee on “national protection strategies in the current context” and influence of Industrial Revolution 4.0 to improve education and training quality in military schools. In addition, they should actively raise lecturers’ competencies while closely coordinating with relevant agencies working in the education and training sectors to renovate education programs and improve quality in the time to come.
