The program is part of the activities launched by the hospital to celebrate its 45th founding anniversary later this year and its official operation of the hospital-run Traumatology-Orthopedics Institute.
Under the newly-launched program, the hospital will raise more funds for charitable heart operations which will be performed by the hospital in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Heart Institute. The two medical facilities will test and conduct cardiovascular surgeries for poor patients with heart diseases.
Apart from supporting patients in need, the program will help promote the military hospital’s image and brand, so that more patients will choose it for their treatment.
Patients aged 15 and above are eligible for the program. Priority will be given to policy beneficiaries, national contributors, and troops’ relatives. The operations will be conducted from May 7 to the end of September.
Right after the launching ceremony, the hospital received nearly VND 1 billion from kind-hearted individuals and organizations.
