PANO - The Central Military Hospital 108 organized the 2013 whole army nuclear medicine scientific seminar on December 6th.

More than 30 speeches of domestic and international scientists, professors and doctors shared new knowledge of nuclear medicines in Vietnam and abroad.

The seminar was a good forum for the participants to discuss experiences on effectively applying nuclear medicines in clinical treatment.

Nuclear medicine is new to the Vietnamese health sector in general and military medical sector in particular. In recent years, this specific medicine in the army has rapidly developed, remarkably contributing to the application of advanced technologies and sciences into medicine and raised quality in diagnosis and treatment for troops and people.

Associate Professor cum Dr, Lieutenant General, Tran Duy Anh, head of the hospital said that the unit efficiently applied SPECT imaging using gamma cameras in various specialities.
