Lullaby and folk music singing festival launched
PANO - An exchange program was held on March 1 with the participation of more than 200 troops of the Military Region 5 (MR5) Command in celebration of the 108th anniversary of International Women's Day, the 1,978th anniversary of the Uprising of Hai Ba Trung (Trung sisters) and the 25th anniversary of the Military Women's Day.
The program saw the participation of 9 lullaby and folk music clubs from agencies and units of Military Region 5. The special performances reminded the heroic tradition and missions of military women in general and women of the armed forces of MR 5 in particular.
The event was also a chance for women's unions to exchange their experience in preserving lullaby and folk music, contributing to promoting traditional cultural values of the nation, especially Bai Choi singing - the intangible heritage of mankind.
