Le Huu Trac National Institute of Burns receives First-Class Labor Order
PANO - Le Huu Trac National Institute of Burns under the Military Medical University on November 30 held a ceremony to receive its First-Class Labor Order, announced the decision to change its name, and organized a meeting to mark the 55th anniversary of its Traditional Day (December 1).
Present at the event was Senior Lieutenant General Do Can, Deputy Director of General Department of Politics (GDP) of the Vietnam People's Army.

19 years since its establishment, the hospital has received and treated more than 70,000 burn patients. Over the past years, the hospital has made progress in comprehensive health care service, plastic surgery, rehabilitation for burn victims, thus contributing to improving patients' life quality, and helping them to integrate into the community.
Speaking at the event, General Can praised the outstanding achievements of the hospital over the past years and expressed his belief that the hospital should continue to promote the solidarity, the spirit of creativity, and uphold the qualities and beauty of Uncle Ho's soldiers. They should also strive to successfully fulfill all assigned tasks in order to deserve the belief of the Party, the State, the army and people.

At the ceremony, the hospital announced Decision No. 2768/QD-BQP issued on July 3, 2019 of the Defense Minister on changing its name from Le Huu Trac National Institute of Burns to Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital under the Military Medical University.
