The Lao delegation during the visit to the Naval Technical Institute |
The guests were introduced to the company’s foundation and development since 1965. It has built various modern boats and ships for the army, such as high-speed patrol boats, a TT400TP-class artillery ship, oil tankers, and other freighters under orders of foreign clients.
Together with production, the company has also concentrated on implementing party and political works as well as fostering successors.
At the Naval Technical Institute, the Lao military delegation observed the working process of the unit. The institute’s main mission is to give consultancy on orientations to develop naval science, technology and environment to the Navy. It has also cooperated with local and international partners to transfer technologies producing weapons and equipment serving the Navy.
Deeply impressed by the trip, the Lao officers thanked the hosts and planned to write articles reflecting the development of the Vietnam People’s Army in military and economic development.
