In detail, the discharged soldiers performed their two-year military service at border guard units of Soc Trang, Long An, Cao Bang, Quang Nam, Tay Ninh, Binh Dinh, Long An, Phu Yen, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Son La, Dak Lak provinces.

After two years of service in the military environment, these soldiers demonstrated their firm stance and absolute loyalty to the Party and military and accomplished all their assignments while observing the Party’s guidelines, the State’s policies, the military discipline, and the unit’s regulations, contributing to promoting the beautiful virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, upholding traditions of the border guards.

At the ceremonies, leaders of the units required the discharged servicemen to continue strictly adhering to the Party’s guidelines and State’s law, following the locality’s regulations, pioneering in the national sovereignty protection and border security, as well as in the local socio-economic development.

The see-off events took place in a solemn atmosphere and ensure COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.

On the occasion, the provincial military commands presented Tet (lunar New Year) gifts to discharged troops.
