The event saw the attendance of Major General Le Ngoc Hai, Deputy Commander of the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command, and Major General Dinh Thanh Nhan, Deputy Director of the HCM City Police Department.

The exercise’s content was shifting the armed forces of District 6 to higher combat readiness postures and conducting an exercise on arresting terrorists and releasing hostages at the intercity bus station, among others.

The event was to improve the leadership and command capacity of local authorities, Party committees; enhance the defensive combat capabilities of the militia force; and promote the advisory role of military and police agencies, departments, branches and mass organizations on military-defense work.

During the event, all participating forces strictly followed the exercise’s regulations and closely worked together to fulfill the task with absolute safety.
