GS Deputy Chief inspects Brigade 950
PANO - A delegation of the General Staff (GS) of the Vietnam People's Army, led by its Deputy Chief Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Binh, on March 3, inspected the combat readiness shifting of Brigade 950 of Military Region 9.
Senior Colonel Chiem Thong Nhat, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 9, participated in the inspection.

During the program, the delegation checked the unit’s system of directives and guidelines related to the shifting of combat readiness; the logistical support for training in combat readiness status transition; the procedures and contents of training for combat readiness shifting in the brigade and its subordinate units.
The inspection aimed to draw lessons, strengthen capabilities, and enhance leadership methods for officers at all levels. It also evaluated the adaptability of troops, while addressing limitations quickly, adjusting combat readiness plans according to the current situation and unit's mission, ultimately enhancing overall combat strength of Military Region 9’s armed forces.
