PANO – The Vietnam Women’s Union on May 14th held a meeting for former Truong Son female soldiers.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly, hailed contributions and sacrifices of the female soldiers to building the Truong Son-Ho Chi Minh legendary road and also to the national liberation cause.

On this occasion, the union granted certificates to the Liaison Committee of Truong Son female soldiers and the Vietnam Former Female Volunteer Youth Council. Besides, the Ministry of National Defence gave VND 500 million to 100 delegates at the get-together.
