After the inspection, the delegation applauded the great efforts of the units in task performance.
In detail, the units strictly embraced higher levels’ instructions and resolutions on combat readiness, observed military discipline and regulations, and maintained forces on duty while regularly conducting exercises on combat plans and preparing forces, vehicles, weapons, and equipment to undertake missions on request.
Meanwhile, the units closely coordinated with other forces to protect national security, social order and safety; prevent and fight against different kinds of crimes; regularly exchanged information related to situations in the air, at sea and in border areas; and promptly gave recommendations to higher levels and local authorities to deal with unexpected issues in a timely manner.

Concluding the visit, Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang hailed the achievements gained by the units over the past time.
Given the complicated developments in the world, the deputy chief required Quang Ninh border guards to promote their advisory role to accomplish border guard tasks, especially focusing on ideological and political education among troops and the care for troops’ material and spiritual life.
Moreover, the border guard force should thoroughly follow the situation to ensure security in border areas, in the air, and at sea, as well as coordinate with other forces to manage foreign visitors; fight against drug-related crimes, human trafficking, smuggling, trade fraud, and others.
Border troops should control import-export activities, entry and exit to maintain circulation of goods at border gates and maritime ports in line with the state’s laws, creating favorable environment for goods circulation and economic development, especially tourism sector.
