The requirement was made by Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh at the ceremony marking the 65th anniversary of the foundation day of the department (June 10, 1957 - 2022) on June 8.
Over the past 65 years of construction, combat and development, the unit has fulfilled its assigned missions with remarkable results, contributing to the struggle for national liberation and the national construction and defense cause. The unit has developed significantly in terms of its force, organization and capability.

Its commanders and troops have always promoted good virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers; been loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people; and overcome hardships to fulfill their assigned tasks.
Apart from doing key missions, the department has also paid much attention to building political stance and professionalism for its personnel, strengthening Party organizations, and promoting solidarity and unity among its troops.
The unit has been honored with numerous awards from the Party, State and military for its outstanding achievements over the past time.
On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of its foundation day, Department 25 was awarded the third-class Fatherland Protection Order.
Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh acknowledged and praised outstanding achievements of the unit over the past time and stressed that the department should build personnel with firm political stance, morality, and good professionalism, contributing to meeting their task requirements in the time to come.
He believed that the unit’s troops will continue to overcome hardships and fulfill their assigned tasks, deserving the trust of the Party, the State, the military and the people.
