Praising the outstanding achievements of Military Hospital 175, General Minh urged the Hospital’s Party Committee and leadership to continue improving the professional competence and making the hospital a reliable place for both troops and people. As the lunar New Year is coming, the hospital must strictly carry out combat readiness plans and take good care of workers in difficult circumstances and needy in-patients.

While visiting Team K70, General Minh acknowledged and highly appreciated the team’s political awareness and determination in carrying out assigned missions, especially their work in searching and repatriating the remains of fallen soldiers in Cambodia. He emphasized that this task holds noble humanitarian significance, reflecting the Party, State, and military's responsibility. He urged the team to implement tasks related to repatriating the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors who sacrificed their lives while conducting international service in Cambodia in wartime in a thoughtful, respectful, and effective manner. The team must continue to strengthen its efforts in conducting mass mobilization activities and maintain the noble image of Uncle Ho’s Soldiers while fostering solidarity and friendship.

The same day, General Minh led a delegation of the Central Military Commission (CMC) and Ministry of National Defense (MND), to visit and check the observance of combat readiness of various units, including the An Giang provincial Military Command, the Ben Tre provincial Military Command and Border Guard Command. The delegation also extended New Year greetings to former Chief of the GDP General Le Van Dung and former Deputy Chief of the GDP Sr. Lt. Gen. Bui Van Huan.

On behalf of the visiting delegation, General Minh commended the units for obtained achievements and emphasized that in the upcoming period, they must focus on leading and organizing successful party congresses at all levels and ensuring strict adherence to regulations. Additionally, units must maintain vigilance during the lunar New Year and continue to ensure combat readiness, enhance training combat plans, and improve security measures to protect their units. He added that units should pay attention to ensuring full Tet portions for officers and soldiers and taking care of those in need in the local areas during the lunar New Year festival.

Also on January 13, Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, the GDP’s Deputy Chief, visited and checked units’ observance of combat readiness regulations and extended New Year greetings to troops.

While visiting the Military Region 5 Command, the Da Nang municipal Military Command, Naval Region 3 Command, Brigade 83 of the Naval Service, and units under the GDP in Da Nang, the delegation was briefed on their task performance in 2024, their preparations for the lunar New Year festival, plans to receive recruits, and training programs.

General To praised the units for the results achieved last year and urged them to continue implementing directives and resolutions on missions in 2025, combat readiness observance, organization of lunar New Year activities. He said that the units should strictly observe combat readiness, ensure safety of personnel, equipment, and facilities. Units should strengthen cooperation, promptly handle any situation, and improve the quality of training, information dissemination, and the well-being of military personnel and local people.
