GDP leader inspects MR9’s units ahead lunar New Year 2025
PANO - On January 12, a delegation of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, led by Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP) Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, visited and extended New Year greetings to some military units in Military Region 9 (MR9).

The units included the An Giang provincial Military Command, the Border Post of Tinh Bien International Border Gate (An Giang), Team K90 of MR9’s Department of Political Affairs, Team K93 of the An Giang provincial Military Command, Division 330 and Armored Brigade 416.
During the event, after being briefed upon the units’ task performance in 2024 and key tasks in 2025 and preparation for the lunar New Year (Tet) 2025, on behalf of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and GDP leaders, General Minh acknowledged and hailed the troops’ achievements.

In order to better implement assigned tasks in the time ahead, the GDP leader requested the units to continue to implement Resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress, the Central Military Commission and Party committees at all levels, focus on raising synergy, ensure combat readiness, especially be ready in any circumstances during Tet 2025 and important political events of the country, military and units, among others.
On the occasion of Tet 2025, General Minh extended greetings to the troops.
