GDP Deputy Chief works with Military Library
PANO - Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs Lt. Gen. Truong Thien To visited and worked with Military Library on January 9.
During the working session, Senior Colonel Mac Thuy Duong, Director of Military Library, reported on the results and achievements in its task performance in 2024. In particular, the unit innovated and enhanced the quality of dissemination and introduction of books and newspapers; ensured good supplementary and technical processing work; promoted digitization and put documents on websites to serve readers, ensuring security and safety; organized reading culture activities in celebration of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory and the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army; among others.

In 2025, the library determined to implement the content of the 2025 plan approved by the Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs in a strict manner; closely follow political events, major anniversaries, and national holidays, with a focus on the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth, the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, and more.

In his remarks, Lt. Gen. Truong Thien To applauded the great efforts of officers and employees of the Military Library in 2024, requiring the unit to accomplish political tasks, build a comprehensively-strong, “typical and exemplary” unit, a strong Party organization, and build a contingent of qualified officers to serve readers in the new situation.
