GDP’s Chief visits Binh Dinh province
PANO – Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP) General Luong Cuong, on July 28, led a delegation to visit and work with the Binh Dinh provincial Military and Border Guard Commands.
Reporting to General Luong Cuong on military, defense, and border guard tasks in the first 6 months of the year, leaders and commanders of the two units said that the provincial armed forces promptly made recommendations to local authorities in building the all-people national defense and people’s security posture. Besides, their combat readiness ability met all task requirements.
The units also well implemented gratitude work for policy beneficiaries, and national contributors in the province.
On behalf of the Central Military Commission and GDP leadership, General Cuong acknowledged and praised the provincial armed forces’ achievements. He also requested them to adhere to the principle of democratic centralism, self-criticism and criticism while taking care of troops’ living standards and their rear.
Earlier, General Cuong laid flowers and offered incense at the monument dedicated at Emperor Quang Trung, Tay Son Tam Kiet Temple and visited Quang Trung Museum.
On this occasion, General Cuong presented gifts to the Managing Board of Quang Trung Museum and the Binh Dinh provincial Military and Border Guard Commands.
