Addressing the working session, Gen. Cuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the unit’s achievements in implementing military and defense tasks, and Party and political work in the first nine months of 2023.

Meanwhile, the provincial Party Committee and Military Command have promoted solidarity and creativeness and tried their best to fulfill all assigned missions. Reportedly, the unit has regularly made recommendations to the provincial authorities so as to effectively implement resolutions and directives on defense and military tasks. It has also strictly maintained combat readiness and organized training as regulated, while teaming up with relevant forces to ensure political security and social order and safety, contributing to the local socio-economic development.
To meet the set goals in 2023 and the following years, Gen. Cuong requested them to strictly grasp situations in the region and the world, and in the areas where they are stationed; work with functional forces in order to ensure local political security and effectively carry out defense and military tasks, contributing to successfully completing political tasks.

Besides, the unit’s Party Committee should also build plans to organize training contents to raise training quality and combat readiness ability.
The GDP leader also noted that the unit should attach much importance to building a clean and strong Party organization, and a strong, comprehensive, exemplary, and outstanding unit, while taking care of the unit’s troops.
The unit’s troops were also requested to boost dissemination work to mobilize local people to follow the Party’s viewpoints and guidelines, and State’s policies; contributing to the local socio-economic development and the building of new-style rural areas and poverty reduction, among others.
On the occasion, Gen. Cuong presented gifts of the Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense to the Thanh Hoa provincial Military Command, public security and border guard forces.
