In the first six months of this year, Naval Region 3 strictly implemented the Party’s directives, resolutions, and conclusions, as well as the higher levels’ action plans, and instructions. The region also gave timely recommendations to the Party Committee of the Naval Service on solutions to raise the efficiency and quality of the Party and political work.
The unit implemented many creative models to enhance the quality of political education while actively coordinating with other organizations to conduct dissemination activities on national sea and islands and organizing the program “The Navy serves as a fulcrum for fishermen to reach out to sea,” among others.
Besides, the Naval Region 3 Command has applied practical solutions to build a clean and strong Party organization associated with building a comprehensively strong “exemplary, typical” unit.

On inspecting Brigade 172 and being briefed on the Naval Region 3 Command’s task performance in the first six months of this year, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau praised its officers and soldiers’ efforts and congratulated them on their achievements over the past time.
Gen. Gau evaluated that the implementation of Party and political work of Naval Region 3 in the first six months of this year closely followed the unit’s political tasks while the political and ideological situation has been stable within the unit.
The GDP’s deputy director required the Naval Region 3 Command, its agencies and units to continue strictly grasping the resolution of the 13th Party Congress and the resolutions and directives of Party committees at all levels.
Meanwhile, the units and agencies are to keep close eye on the implementation of military-defense tasks, well manage troops’ ideological situation to handle arising issues in a timely manner, especially thoroughly grasp the local situation and work together with local authorities to effectively implement mass mobilization work and law dissemination and education among troops and people to ensure political security and social order and safety.

Together with focusing on raising the quality and efficiency of Party and political work in task performance, training and combat readiness work, Naval Region 3 should pro-actively consolidate its forces and vehicles to be ready for missions to protect national sovereignty over sea and islands as required, and conduct search and rescue missions, and support fishermen in reaching out to sea, contributing to building a firm posture of people’s heart and mind.
