Forces participating in great national event depart for the South

Deputy Chief of the General Staff Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Van Nghia directed the forces.

To well accomplish the assigned missions, the General Staff required agencies and units to build a concrete plan, coordinate with other forces to make thorough preparations as planned, conduct route surveys and determine the timing for the deployment of forces and vehicles, carefully check the technical conditions of the vehicles. The agencies and units focused on maintaining security and order, logistics provision, and medical services to ensure absolute safety for personnel, equipment, and vehicles.

During the deployment, the agencies and units were asked to strictly manage the numbers of participating troops, ensure diet and food safety hygiene; organize the reception at train stations and other transfer points along the journey in a careful, formal, safe, and timely manner. They should develop a plan to be ready to handle any arising circumstances, ensuring security and safety on the train and at the train stations.
