On display are more than 40 documents and photos highlighting Vietnam’s long exercise of sovereignty over the Hoang Sa archipelago, the country’s fight to safeguard its maritime sovereignty in current period, the Vietnamese Party and State’s guidelines and policies on the fight, activities about fishing offshore, holding onto the sea and protecting the nation’s maritime sovereignty as well as the press’s engagement in safeguarding the sovereignty over the sea and islands and Da Nang youths with national sea and islands.

To facilitate visitors’ access to information in an effective and prompt manner, showcased exhibits are added with QR codes.

On the occasion, orators from the Naval Region 3 Command provided participants with the role of the national sea and islands, recent situations in the waters of Vietnam, the Party and State’s views and policies on the fight to protect maritime sovereignty, the Navy’s role and task of maritime sovereignty safeguarding, and how to identify and refute the distorted arguments of hostile forces on the East Sea (South China Sea) issue.
