PANO- The Dong Thap provincial Military Command and Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs organized a memorial and reburial ceremony for the remains of 10 unidentified martyrs on July 9th at Cao Lanh district’s Martyrs Cemetery in Dong Thap province.
The remains were found by the Dong Thap provincial Military Command’s Team K91, local authorities and people in My Tho commune, Cao Lanh district.
These martyrs were believed to be Vietnamese soldiers who took part in the resistance war against American invaders.
According to Team K91’s report, from November 2012 to June 2013, they have found 39 sets of remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers who died in Cambodia and 18 others in Dong Thap province.
