Division 7 conducts live-fire exercise with good outcomes
PANO – On August 4, at the National Shooting Range Area 3, Division 7 of Army Corps 4 held a live-fire exercise for its reserve force in 2023.
Army Corps 4’s Political Commissar Major General Truong Ngoc Hoi was present at the event.
The exercise was themed “Infantry battalion attacks the enemy at Height 98 in the midland.” After receiving the order, the reserve force of Regiment 165, Division 7 quickly moved to designated areas as planned. Infantry Battalion 4 under Regiment 165, together with relevant forces, advanced, sieged and destroyed the enemy.

The reserve force defeated almost all of the enemy’s targets and fulfill the exercise as scheduled, thanks to their hard training and mastering of staffed weapons.

Senior Colonel Mai Chi Khanh, Commander of Division 7, noted that during the exercise, the division attached much importance to equipping reservists with skills and measures during operation. Therefore, all reservists were well aware of their tasks and effectively applied military arts during combat.
“Besides, units also ensured Party and political work and raised troops’ political stance and strong will, thereby concluding the exercise with good outcomes,” he emphasized.

On the occasion, leader of the Army Corps 4 hailed the division’s preparation for the exercise as regulated with absolute safety. Each soldier overcame difficulties and strictly followed all regulations during the task performance.
The corps leader asked the division to continue to take measures to boost the quality of reserve force and coordination ability during operation, while promoting training so as to be ready in any circumstances.
