In photos: Second joint rehearsal of parade troops and modern weapons
PANO - On August 5, the second joint rehearsal of nearly 16,000 officers and soldiers and modern weapons and equipment to take part in the upcoming grand parade to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2) was held at the National Military Training Center No.4.
At the event, parade troops showed synchronized movements, improved uniformity, greater discipline and precision.
Speaking at a meeting after the rehearsal, its chair Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, who is Deputy Chief of the General Staff and Head of the Parade Sub-committee, directed relevant units to draw lessons and continue intensive training, ensuring quality of all formations, especially the formations of air and naval forces. He also asked for good technical services of participating weapons and equipment, good health of parade troops, food safety and disease prevention.
