PANO - Division 31 under Army Corps 3 held a live-fire exercise, part of its tactical exercise for the reserve force on August 3 in Binh Dinh province.

The exercise, themed “Infantry battalion attacks the enemy in mountainos terrains,” saw the presence of Major General Dang Sy Loc, Deputy Commander of Army Corps 3, and representatives of local leadership and military units stationed in the locality.

During the drill, units under Division 31 shifted combat readiness status to a higher level, maneuvered force, vehicles to the designated positions, and built the battlefield. Participating troops closely coordinated with each other and flexibly applied their acquired knowledge to dealing with real situations in the mountainous terrains.

The exercise helped all-level chains-of-command raise their command competence and nearly 1,000 reservists in Hoai An and Hoai Nhon districts improve their awareness of training duties to meet the requirement of safeguarding the Fatherland in the new situation.

The live-fire exercise ended with absolute safety of personnel and equipment.
