The event was under the direction of Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 4 Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Hau. 

Under the theme “Infantry division defending mountainous terrains,” the exercise was divided into three stages, namely shifting combat readiness to higher levels, preparing for, and conducting operations.

The troops are determined to accomplish the exercise.

According to Division 341’s Commanding Officer Senior Colonel Le The Soai, the exercise was to check troops’ ability of shifting combat readiness to higher levels, preparing for a combat, working on maps, compiling documents, and dealing with circumstances during the exercise.

After two days, the event concluded successfully, meeting all set requirements. The exercise helped troops enhance their capabilities and coordination among agencies and units in shifting combat readiness postures, preparing, and conducting operations.

Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Hau evaluated that troops participating in the exercise of Division 341 reached all set targets while ensuring absolute safety. The deputy chief of Staff of Military Region 4 asked the division to overcome shortcomings in conducting the exercise, continue training to raise its commanding officers’ capability, and flexibly apply principles and theories to training and combat readiness.
