Gen. Phan Van Giang presents the 40-year Party membership badge to Sr. Lt. Gen. Vu Hai San.

Addressing the ceremony, on behalf of the Central Military Commission (CMC) and Ministry of National Defense (MND), Gen. Phan Van Giang congratulated Sr. Lt. Gen. Vu Hai San on receiving the noble badge. This is the honor and pride of not only Gen. San, but also of the CMC, MND, and all officers and Party members in the whole military.

Gen. Phan Van Giang affirmed that for over 40 years serving in the military and the Party, in each position and any circumstances, the deputy defense minister has been loyal to the Party, nation and people. He has also strictly observed military discipline and regulations, promoted revolutionary moral virtues of a Party member and responsibility of a soldier so as to overcome difficulties to fulfill all assigned tasks, deserving the trust of the Party, State, people and troops in the whole military.

Especially, as deputy defense minister, he has promptly made proposals to the CMC and MND leaders; made contribution to the building of the all-people national defense posture, the people’s armed forces, as well as the strong Military Party Organization, so as to raise the strength of the military, enhance defense potential, and firmly construct and protect the Fatherland.

The 40-year Party membership badge showed the acknowledgement of the Party, CMC, and MND towards his contribution to the national revolutionary cause.

Speaking at the ceremony, Sr. Lt. Gen. Vu Hai San expressed his honor and pride of receiving the badge, and thanked the CMC and MND leaders for creating favorable conditions for him over the past years.

“I vow to continue to do my all-out efforts to serve the revolutionary cause of the Party and the military, strictly obey the Party’s Charter as well as regulations that Party members are not allowed to do, uphold revolutionary moral virtues, study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and lifestyle; and strive to complete all assigned missions,” he underscored.
